Muhammad Ali, original name Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr., (born January 17, 1942,  Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.—died June 3, 2016, Scottsdale, Arizona), American professional boxer and social activist. Ali was the first fighter to win the world heavyweight championship on three separate occasions; he successfully defended this title 19 times.

BE FEARLESS in 2023 like Rosa Parks!

Rosa Parks, née Rosa Louise McCauley, (born February 4, 1913, Tuskegee, Alabama, U.S.—died October 24, 2005, Detroit, Michigan), American civil rights activist whose refusal to relinquish her seat on a public bus precipitated the 1955–56 Montgomery bus boycott in Alabama, which became the spark that ignited the civil rights movement in the United States.

• assist MWBE’s navigate government and corporate procurement via business coaching and technical assistance.

The Aero-Ba-Soul, Inc. team dedicates today’s issue to Kecia’s youngest brother and Kevin’s brother-in-law, Curtis Palmer who passed away on February 7, 2020. He was loved by dozens of family members, children, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, cousins, and friends including his beloved brothers Vaughn, Sr. Leroy Palmer, Jr. and parents Leroy Palmer and Obie Palmer (RIP) . We loved him, we miss him, his laughs, compassion and his smiles. However, God loved him best. Rest is power Curtis! We carry you and memories of you in our hearts daily and forever.

Many minority and women business enterprise entrepreneurs use their local, County and State Agencies to stay current and tap into potential resources and procurement opportunities for their businesses and their communities. Getting MWBE Certified and

procuring government contracts can help MWBEs build their businesses! Grants and loans are also parts of MWBEs portfolios to grow their businesses.

INTRODUCING THE BOSS NETWORK and SAGE INVEST IN PROGRESS GRANT – APPLY BY FEBRUARY 25, 2023!

To qualify for The BOSS Network and Sage Invest in Progress Grant, you must:   

• Be a Black woman-identifying entrepreneur who is the leading executive (i.e. Founder) of a for-profit small business founded in the last five years
• Have a demonstrated need for funds
• Be willing to participate in a virtual mentoring program

The application deadline is February 25, 2022, at 6 p.m. ET. So, if you are a Black women entrepreneur in need of funding and support for your small business, don’t miss this opportunity to be considered for The BOSS Network and Sage Invest in Progress Grant.
