March 10, 2021 | Volume 3
Dear MWF Colleagues:
It’s Women’s History Month, a time to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across the globe. It’s also the perfect time to announce that our MWF Board of Directors has voted to rebrand as International Women’s Forum of Massachusetts. Like any rebrand, it won’t happen overnight, but it’s coming. Stay tuned for details.
Being part of the International Women’s Forum gives us access to a wealth of programs and personal connection to extraordinary women from other forums around the world.
IWF 2021: Change in the Face of Challenge.
If you have not yet registered for IWF’s Virtual Cornerstone Conference, taking place on March 25th, now is the time! You can access the conference registration site here. (Please use the email address associated with your MWF account. If you have trouble logging into the IWF website, email Lauren).
Be sure to watch this month MEMBER(able) Moment video and meet Tara Levine…
The excitement and anticipation for this year’s IWF Conference will carry into our own Programming. Please take a moment and hear directly from our Programming Chair Tara Levine. In addition to fun Social Gatherings and informative Executive Briefings, we will soon introduce the Courageous Conversations series.
We see these small-group, ‘safe-space’ discussions as a way to deepen connection among our members on topics that range from ‘tough’ to ‘taboo’ but that matter…personally and societally. It’s a chance to explore new perspectives, and as a result, new possibilities.
We value your ideas and suggestions related to this year’s Programming and invite you to take a brief survey here.
Looking forward to seeing you at an upcoming event, and to Spring just around the corner!
