Attractions and Activity Providers -

We are updating our list of participating attraction and activity businesses, so please join now if you would like to encourage familiarisation visits from other MWT members, or contact us if you're already on the list and would like to make changes to your details.
All members -

Familiarisation visits are the best way to really understand your destination and the opportunities which are available to your guests.

MWT provide free attractions/activity cards to all MWT members. Valid until your membership renewal, the card gives you access to a range of participating places to visit and things to do.

The card provides members with free entry (+1) or a 50% discount on activities, helping you to experience first-hand the excellent range of attractions and activities in your area and providing you with a great insight into what there is for your visitor to do.

Also helping you to confidently promote your local attractions and activities, encourage networking and word of mouth referrals.
If you are visiting any of the participating businesses then please do tweet, share, like and review! - Help promote the fantastic range of visitors attractions and activities in your area. Give your visitors even more reason to return.
Community Ownership Fund Opens
Could this be of interest to your community?

People across Wales will have the chance to become owners of at-risk local pubs, theatres, post offices, sports grounds and corner shops with the launch of the UK Government’s Community Ownership Fund, which will see more than £7m set aside for projects in Wales.

The fund will run over four years (until 2024/2025). There will be multiple bidding rounds. The first opened on 15 July 2021 and closes on 13 August 2021.

Voluntary and community organisations can bid for match funding.
Other key dates are as follows:

•   December 2021 – round 2 will open
•   May 2022 – round 3 will open

Membership Recruitment - places to eat & drink
Some of the feedback at our most recent members' meeting, is that accommodation providers are struggling to find as many quality places to eat and drink to recommend to their guests. We are sadly very aware that some businesses have closed during Covid and not re-opened.

We're therefore asking for your help.

Where do you refer your guests/visitors for food and/or drink? Please let us know here. (short online form)

If they're not already members, we will get in touch to introduce MWT.
Menu exchange reminder - if you're a food and drink business yourself and you're happy to send sample menus/information to other MWT members who request it (to promote to their guests), don't forget to sign up for our menu exchange service. We'd love to get more of you using this free service. Accommodation businesses, you can request menus here.
