MWT Cymru Coronavirus Update - Issue 21
New travel restrictions are planned to come into force on Friday 16 October at 6pm
The Welsh Government announced yesterday that they are preparing urgent action to prevent people who live in areas with high coronavirus infection rates (Tier 2 & Tier 3) across the UK from travelling to Wales.

Under new regulations being prepared by Welsh Ministers, people living in areas with a high-prevalence of Coronavirus in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland would not be able to travel to Wales for the time being.

The Welsh Government will be finalising its regulatory approach to the travel restrictions and as soon as we know, we will let everyone know.
