Exciting new outdoor games - could you be a host?
MWT members, Beyond Breakout, are launching MAGIC PORTAL.
These outdoor games combine the best of escape rooms, scavenger hunts and geocaching.

Beyond Breakout have an exclusive license to set up routes and run these games anywhere in Powys.

Would you like Lorna and Jo to run one in your area, or at your business?
It's a great way to utilise your outdoor space and encourage footfall to your town/area or grounds (each game is about 3km in length). They can plot the trail in conjunction with you, or do it themselves. Everything's set up for you/the players.

Perfect for adults and families, groups of friends, holidaymakers. Games last approximately 2 hours. Players are provided with an iPad per team of 6 and a puzzle pack to solve all riddles. They navigate using maps and GPS in order to find the location of their next challenge. The cost is £60 per slot which is for up to 6 players, and they can run 10 games per day.

All Lorna and Jo ask is that you share the marketing by promoting the event on social media, etc.

Please contact Lorna and Jo for all enquiries on 01686 449172 or 07963 260373, or email beyondbreakout@gmail.com.

They also have great indoor escape rooms at their premises in Newtown; please help them spread the word amongst your guests/visitors.
Cyber Resilience Centre - Free Membership Available

The Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales (WCRC) is a partnership between the police, private sector and academia to help small to medium sized businesses protect themselves against cybercrime.
It is part of a network of centres being established across the country to provide organisations with an affordable way to access cyber security services and consultancy to help protect themselves from attack.

The centre is headed up by Director Paul Peters, who is a Temporary Detective Superintendent seconded to the centre.

“The Core Membership is free and comes with a pack of practical guidance and information to assist companies in identifying their current risks and what they can do to reduce potential problems arising. We are keen that businesses across Wales sign up to take advantage of this.” Paul said.
Businesses can find out more information about the centre and how to get involved at www.wcrcentre.co.uk. To keep updated with all the latest WCRC developments, follow @CRCWales on Twitter or on LinkedIn and sign up to receive the WCRC e-news on the website.
Spotlight: Warren Parc Holiday Home Park
To highlight some of our long-standing MWT members in celebration of MWT's 30th year, Claire spoke to Julia Warren-Kyle from Warren Parc, a holiday home caravan and chalet park in the beautiful Dyfi Valley.

Thank you, Julia.
Our 100 holiday homes are all privately owned by families and couples who return to enjoy the peace and tranquillity and explore Mid Wales year after year. Some have been returning to Warren Parc for over 30 or 40 years; most travel from the Midlands and Shropshire but we’ve found in recent years more are coming from North and South Wales, and we even have a couple of owners who live as far away as Southampton.

However, we'll be reviewing this on an ongoing basis, and would like to politely remind you of our MWT Facebook Group rules:
