Restaurant’s, Café’s, Pubs, Inns: Promote your menus to other MWT members
You will send a copy of your menu directly to the accommodation business that has requested it – a hard copy via post and/or a PDF via email, or you could even drop them off in person if you wish.
(You will need to register/login to the MWT members' area on MWT)
Food and drink members, also don't forget that you can upload pdf sample menus to your listing on Visit Mid Wales.

Log-in to Guestlink to do this (contact us if you need any help).

We also encourage you to consider options for online booking on your own website - we notice many members have online booking for accommodation but not for tables.
Visit Wales Star Quality Grading
Grading is not a requirement for MWT membership. However, from a business and marketing perspective, we encourage you to consider the benefits of grading if you have not already done so.

Grading stars are a recognised sign of quality. They provide reassurance to guests that your business has been fully inspected before they check in.

Join the Visit Wales grading scheme for:
  • An independent assessment of what guests can expect to find at your accommodation.
  • A report showing your strengths and outlining areas for improvement, with individual scores for each assessed area of your business.
  • Access to ongoing support and advice from the grading team.
  • A certificate and free sign to display.
  • Use of the Visit Wales star grading logo.
  • Access to Visit Wales marketing opportunities including an entry on the Visit Wales website (this website is updated via Guestlink, in the same way you already update your listing/s on Visit Mid Wales & Show me Wales).
Outdoor / Beach Safety
At one of our recent member meetings, one of our businesses shared their concerns about the tragic death of a kayaker in Tywyn last month, and how we, as a business community, can help to promote the safety message to our visitors.

AdventureSmart.uk have designed a range of messages to help you keep your customers safe and comfortable in the outdoors.
The RNLI have also produced really useful assets for businesses including downloadable posters to help share messages. They are also looking for local water safety ambassadors to spread safety messages.
Natural Resources Wales have a handy page on their website which groups together 'The Countryside Code Family' in one place.
Links to all of these resources are also available within the members' area of www.mwtcymru.co.uk. Contact us if you need any help registering/logging in.
Bedroom Browsers - request your copies
If anyone would like additional copies of our 2020/21 bedroom browser and tear-off maps, please get in touch.

They can be collected from our office in Machynlleth (please let us know when you're coming as this office isn't staffed full time).

We can also post them in small numbers, or arrange delivery for larger drop-offs.
