Join us this Saturday, January 10th, as the MY HERO International Film Festival Awards Ceremony continues a celebration of storytellers who are shining a light on everyday heroes making a positive difference in our world.

This Virtual Awards Ceremony showcases winning films by students and professionals who shine a light on heroes from around the world.

All are invited to participate in this free program:

The Relationships First Award is sponsored by The Foundation for the Contemporary Family . Founder Judith Anderson Ph.D will present the award to a filmmaker who honors short films that highlight the powerful and poignant connections within any type of contemporary family.

The Mattie Stepanek Poetic Film Prize honors filmmakers who create visual poems with messages of hope and peace. This award is in memory of young Mattie Stepanek, who touched thousands of lives with his poems of love and optimism. The award is presented each year by his mother Jeni Stepanek.

The People’s Choice Award, is chosen by voters in homes, classrooms and afterschool programs around the world. The award celebrates the film that inspired, moved, and resonated most with viewers most.
