This month’s gratification post is to the YouthWorks program and staff! Each month we thank an individual, business and/or organization who supports our efforts!

The MYC received a $100K grant through the Commonwealth Corporation under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts YouthWorks Program and MassHire Central Career Center Region Workforce Board. Through this grant MYC was able to help employ 17 income eligible youth this summer with over 220 paid hours and career readiness training. Due to this opportunity, we were able to have youth placed at multiple different locations throughout town including the Milford Youth Center, Milford Public Schools Food Service Department, Parks Department, Highway Department, Milford TV and at Town Hall, allowing additional help at each location at no cost to their individual departments. Once again, we would like to thank the multiple organizations, listed above, for this opportunity.
