MYC Summer Camp Going Great!!!
We cannot believe that we are already over halfway through our Summer Camp program! Although at a smaller capacity than normal, we are so happy that we have been able to run one this year! We have been able to enjoy some fun field trips including FootGolf at ForeKicks, Water Wizz, Kimball Farm and Hopkinton State Park so far! We also have been enjoying Fino Pool three days a week in the afternoon on our in-town days with additional morning programming including arts & crafts, STEM, movie day and Earth Art! Of course the kids also enjoy their free play in the gym, game room and lounge area as well! Finally, all campers are able to enjoy a free breakfast and lunch thanks to the collaboration of SFSP, Hockomock Area YMCA and the Milford School Food & Nutrition Services department. 10 Month Full-Time AmeriCorps Position Available!
The MYC is looking for one Social Capital Inc. AmeriCorps member, for a position starting in September 2021! The SCI AmeriCorps program supports youth success by increasing volunteerism and providing leadership training and community service opportunities for youth. The goal of the SCI AmeriCorps program is to connect youth with relationships, experiences and resources they need to succeed. Members implement volunteer outreach and capacity building activities that increase volunteer participation, and provide leadership training and community service opportunities for youth.
