MYC Annual Fundraiser
at CraftRoots Brewery!
The Milford Youth Commission and staff of the Milford Youth Center (MYC) would like to invite you to join us and/or donate in support of (raffle prizes also accepted) our largest fundraiser of the year. The event is designed to help ensure Milford children continue to have access to FREE, fun and educational after-school programs!
Where: CraftRoots Brewing located on 4 Industrial Rd. Milford, MA 01757
Admission: $30 per person (includes a pint of beer!)
Event will include community awards, a food truck, raffles and music from the Pub Kings!

While the town of Milford pays the salaries of three full-time staff members, utilities and maintenance expenses, we rely on fundraising to pay for all other expenses including additional staff and programming. That’s why our fundraising, and YOUR contribution, is so important. By attending, making a donation, and/or contributing a raffle prize, you help ensure we have the supplies, additional staffing and physical fitness/educational programming needed to keep the Center going. In addition, your contribution will help fund annual scholarships for Milford High School graduates who attended, volunteered and/or worked at the Center!
By providing Milford youth with a safe environment during the after-school hours and through monthly events, we hope to address adolescent risk factors and promote a partnership among community members that helps ensure the health and safety of local youth. We have been in our renovated facility for over six years and have over 600 registered After School members for this school year alone. That number continues to grow each day. We know we are making a difference in the lives of Milford youth; we just need your help to ensure that impact continues.

This month’s gratification post is to Milford TV! Each month we thank an individual, business and/or organization who supports our efforts! Throughout the school year the Youth Center has worked together with Milford TV’s, Liz Harkins, Nick Coelho, and Mishelle Hebshie, on projects, events, and after-school programming! Their efforts are not only benefiting the Center, but also the youth who participate in the programs who get to learn real life skills that they can utilize in the future! Milford TV also helped us create rules videos to show the kids during the afterschool program which has been so helpful to the program! Finally, we would also like to thank you to Liz for inviting us to be a part of the MassAccess Spring Conference but also for meeting the Director and Matt Holmes, our architect from Mjh Architects for the future music/multipurpose media Center, last month to help us plan for the space!
