In the Community
- Pride Happy Hour with J-Pride on Tuesday, June 11, 6pm at the Urban Growler. Join this annual happy hour replete with nosh, drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), friends, schmoozing, kvelling, and community! We’re looking forward to seeing you for a relaxing, celebratory evening in their Beer Garden (don’t worry, we’ll be inside if the weather turns sour!). This event is free and open to everyone! Bring your friends, families, kiddos, and anyone else you meet on your way over. LGBTQIA+ community members, allies, and supporters are all welcome. DETAILS.

- The 2019 Food for your Soul to benefit Sholom Auxiliary will be on Thursday, June 27, 6:00 pm at Oakridge Country Club. Spend an evening with great food and fun, good company and of course for a great cause. Entertainment by Patty Peterson, a dynamic vocalist, radio personality, and inspirational speaker. DETAILS.

- Interfaith Habitat For Humanity Project—June 24-29. For more than a decade, Mount Zion members have volunteered with members of other congregations in the Habitat for Humanity “Faith Builder’s” Program. We now seek volunteers June 24 (Monday) through 28 (Friday). The work day runs from 8:30 am to 4 pm. All skill levels are welcome, there is professional staff on hand to teach you. This year’s project is located at 1025 Seminary Ave in St. Paul.
