- Trauma, Security, and Faith: Jewish Perspectives on Gun Violence on Friday, May 10, 11 am at JFCS in Golden Valley. This is a panel discussion offering Jewish perspectives on gun violence from several unique angles. Learn what advocacy opportunities exist for those who wish to get involved in addressing gun violence and its impact on our communities. DETAILS.

- My Journey to Israel. Join the St. Paul Jewish Federation for a talk by Shane Lesko, Midwest Regional Christian Outreach Director at AIPAC, Thursday, May 16, 7 p.m. at Shaller Family Sholom East Campus, St. Paul. The evening includes a dessert reception. DETAILS.

- Interfaith Habitat For Humanity Project—June 24-29. For more than a decade, Mount Zion members have volunteered with members of other congregations in the Habitat for Humanity “Faith Builder’s” Program. We now seek volunteers June 24 (Monday) through 28 (Friday). The work day runs from 8:30 am to 4 pm. All skill levels are welcome, there is professional staff on hand to teach you. This year’s project is located at 1025 Seminary Ave in St. Paul.
