Nominating Committee Report
In January the Nominating Committee met to develop a slate of Officers and new Board members. The By-laws of Mount Zion require that this list be provided to all members prior to the Annual Meeting. This year the Annual Meeting and dinner, open to all congregants, will be held on May 10 .

- Go on a scavenger hunt at the St. Paul JCC! Join the St. Paul Jewish Federation for our next Mitzvah Crawl as we discover all the ways the newly renovated building is accessible to all. Enjoy a pizza dinner and prep for game night - an activity that brings together young adult friends from the St. Paul JCC and the Highland Friendship Club. - Join Hineni, Beth Jacob, Shir Tikvah, J-Pride and Keshet for a day of learning with SVARA: A Traditionally Radical Yeshiva on Sunday, March 31, 10:00 am - 3:30 pm at Beth Jacob. Whether you are an alef-bet beginner or an advanced Talmud learner, this workshop is for you! All you need to participate is the ability to sound out your Hebrew alphabet (alef-bet) and you’ll be learning Talmud in the original Hebrew/Aramaic within your first hour. DETAILS

- The Twin Cities Jewish Community Alzheimer's Task Force will present the 5th Conference for Caregivers. “Keeping the Spirit Alive”: The Conference for Caregivers and Those Supporting a Loved One with Dementia will be held on Sunday, April 7, from 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Beth El Synagogue (5225 Barry St W, St Louis Park). - Movie Morning - Gloria Dei Lutheran Church's 3rd Chapter: Spirituality as We Age is proud to welcome Mount Zion members for a viewing and discussion of The Woman in Gold starring Helen Mirren. Based on a true story of reclaiming a painting stolen by the Nazis, the movie enlightens an area of WWII history unknown to many. Come enjoy popcorn and lively conversation. Free and open to all.
