Ma Chadash: What's New at Adat Shalom?

Law and Justice on Trial - this Saturday

By now, I hope all of you have heard about the upcoming program, "Law and Justice on Trial", this coming Saturday night, April 13, at Adat Shalom. If you've been sitting on the fence about attending, or just procrastinating, I encourage you to commit now by RSVP'ing  here.  You won't regret it. The program promises an illuminating  conversation among our esteemed member, Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh, and two expert observers of our governmental institutions, journalists Joan Biskupic and Ben Wittes.  (Ms. Biskupic's recently released "The Chief", a biography of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, has received great reviews and just made the Washington Post's Bestseller List!)  A dessert reception will follow the program.  Doors will open at 7:00 pm.  The program is a fundraiser, but we do not wish the ticket price ($72) to be a barrier for anyone. If that would apply to you, please contact Executive Director Marla Cohen at or 301-767-3333.
Please join us this Saturday night! Click here to get your tickets now!  (Tickets will be available at the door!)

All the best,

Scott Arnold, Adat Shalom Board Member/Fundraising

"As newer parents, opportunities to relax and bond with other families are limited. Melissa Seldin

Learn, play and hang out with Rabbi Fred, Rabbi Rachel, Rabbi Julie,  Dr. Rabbi David Teutsch, scholar-in-residence and Marilyn Price, artist-in-residence. Rabbi Isaac Saposnik, Camp Havaya's Executive Director, writes:  "Marilyn's creativity and passion shine through in everything she does. A long-time artist-in-residence at Camp Havaya, she brings innovative, interactive, fun, and meaningful programming to our kids and campers summer after summer. You won't want to miss the chance to learn, explore, and create with her!"
