Building Energy Performance Standard – An Introduction
Enterprise Green Communities Releases 2020 Criteria

The 2020 Enterprise Green Communities criteria, recently launched by Enterprise Community Partners (Enterprise), will apply to all projects submitted for prebuild approval after October 15, 2020. The new digital format allows projects to review the full content of the criteria manual and simultaneously access the criteria checklist to tally project criteria goals, requirements and optional points.

“In the 2020 update, we are expanding the requirements that help protect vulnerable communities from the effects of our changing climate and ensuring that the buildings we create can withstand disasters that can upend lives and destroy whole communities”, said Laurel Blatchford, president, Enterprise.

New Employee
Erik Zingler joins MaGrann as an Energy Engineer. Erik obtained a degree from Stockton University in Sustainability, with a concentration in energy. Along with previous experience in the residential building sector, he conducted ASHRAE Level 3 energy audits on both commercial and residential buildings at Stockton. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring the woods and water around him – actively fishing much of his free time away!

“I have always been attentive to the natural world around me and my experiences have led me to see the impact the building sector has not only on the environment, but also humans who interact with them. I am excited to help contribute to reducing that impact through our work at MaGrann targeting energy efficiency and promoting green building practices”.
