LBC's Maajid Nawaz Returns to The Travel Convention  
Following his insightful Breakfast Briefing in the Azores in 2017, Maajid Nawaz, presenter with Global’s LBC, will take to the main stage at this year’s Convention for a session entitled ‘Building Trust in an Uncertain World’. The successful international journalist and co-founder of Quilliam, the world’s first counter-extremism organisation, will share his views on a world of growing doubt – facing fears of terrorism; the escalation of geopolitical unrest; the national and international political landscape; the rise of extremism; nationalism and polarisation; change, disinformation and how to build trust within this world. 
The Future of the Expert with Lucy Huxley 
Lucy Huxley, Editor in Chief, Travel Weekly Group, will moderate a session on The Future of the Expert. Lucy will be joined by a panel of experts who will share their different perspectives on the role of the expert and how they will shape the industry of tomorrow. Panellists will include: Derek Jones, Der Touristik; Claire Irvin, Telegraph Travel; Alistair Rowland, Midcounties Co-operative; and Becky Power, Sector Lead, Travel at Google.
