Each of 5th grade teachers nominated and recognized one of their students that displayed some or all the outstanding characteristics of Leadership. Listed below are the 2023 award winners.

Parents were in attendance to see some of the proud recipients of the 2023 Student Leader Awards.

In addition to receiving their certificates of Achievement, the Student Leaders received a nice incentive goodie bag that included: gift cards to Chic-Fil-A and Walmart, pens, pencils, bottled water, small MIC back pack, hand sanitizer, snacks, and of course a good book to read over the summer. Onward to Middle School!

Pebblebrook CTAE Shark Tank Champion for 2023!

The eagerly anticipated Shark Tank competition took place in the media center of Pebblebrook High School on Wed. May 17th. Among the varied “business ventures” were products for home and leisure, as well as sweets and treats for the soul and the stomach. The event showcased the exceptional talent and entrepreneurial spirit bubbling in the young minds of CTAE (Career Technical Agricultural Education) students.

The Shark Tank Event was an intimate affair, designed to foster a sense of warmth and connection among the esteemed, parents, judges, and the participants from the Young Entrepreneurs Association. The eight (8) finalists for the Shark tank were selected and pre-qualified from the hugely successful Popup Market held on May 10th in the amphitheater.

Teacher Appreciation Week - Sanders Elementary

With the help from some amazing sponsors, we had the pleasure of providing meals and snacks to the schools in South Cobb. We also had the privilege of awarding $50 gift cards to 13 deserving teachers in our special giveaway.

By visiting a different cohort of schools each day, MIC Education committee and sponsors created a positive community environment and boost morale within our education community.
