PreK & Primary Open House Thursday Night
PreK & Primary Open House is this Thursday August 31st. Parents this is a great opportunity for you to see first hand what your child's day is like, hear from the teacher and meet fellow classroom parents. Please check with your specific teacher if students are welcome.

Donate Your Sneakers!
As you clean out closets after a busy summer, don't forget to save your old sneakers (both kids AND adult sizes accepted) for our GotSneakers donation fundraiser*.  Ask friends, neighbors, and family to donate too so we can reach our goal of collecting 1000 pairs! Donations are accepted in boxes located around the school.   *Athletic shoes ONLY. Shoes with worn/tearing/seperated soles, holes, or torn lining are not accepted.
After School Enrichment (ASE) Registration is LIVE

Mabry ASE has 65 enriching classes offered for your young student, with great new additions including Ukelele, Lacrosse, Hip Hop and Allergy-free cooking! As well as returning favorites like All Sports, Running club, Robotics and Intro to Chinese or Spanish! These are just a few of the fantastic classes lined up for fall. Fall 12 week session starts the week of September 11.  You can register by clicking here. Attention ALL Volunteers
All parents interested in volunteering at Mabry must fill out the HCPS volunteer form online. Please do so as soon as possible by clicking here.   If you have children at multiple HCPS schools, you only have to fill the form out one time.

Reading Buddies Needed
Do you have 30 minutes a week to help a child improve their reading abilities?  The PTA's Reading Buddies program is in need of volunteers.  No experience necessary!  You will be matched with a child and then spend 30 minutes a week  encouraging and listening to them read.  Teachers will provide the materials.  Contact: Stephanie Thomas stephaniewbush@hotmail.com
