Mabry Minute for Week of 9/29/19
The 11th Annual Walk-A-Thon is coming soon!
On Saturday, October 26th (9AM-Noon) students, families and staff will gather at the Coleman Track to walk together and raise funds for our school. Last year's Walk-A-Thon proceeds went to installing overhead projectors in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classrooms. As students raise donations they earn prize bags filled with free meals at local restaurants, Mabry swag, and even Hydro Flasks. Homerooms can earn recess gear or ice cream parties. More information can be found HERE. Interested in volunteering? Email us or sign up HERE.
Character Connection: Acceptance

Here are some discussion points to talk about acceptance with your child:
  • What do you think acceptance is and why is it important?
  • Tell me about a time when it was hard to include someone you didn't want to play with?
  • What are some ways you can practice acceptance of yourself and others?
