Kindergarten Round Up
Mabry Elementary Kindergarten Round Up is Thursday, January 30th at 8:00am. Visitors must have a valid picture ID and either check in the front office (Estrella) or at the sign up station located near the cafeteria (Lois).
You're Invited!
The students have come together to create Artwork for the spectacular Art Show celebration.  Every student has their own masterpiece framed & on display.  You don't want to miss this event!

You can proudly display your child's framed original Art in your home or office.  You may also order COLOR REPRODUCTIONS at the Art Show. A framed reproduction of your child's Art is an amazing, personalized gift for grandparents, friends or other family members.

Framed Artwork: $25

Start the Day (and the Year) Right with School Breakfast

Make sure this year's resolutions include guaranteeing your kids a balanced, nutritious breakfast every day. If your morning schedule makes this difficult, or your kids aren't hungry early in the morning, send them to school for breakfast. Many nutritious foods are available every morning in the cafeteria and free for all  students. Help your kids to make this semester a success!

  • Discuss bravery. Re-visit or create new family values that align with the qualities of courage and bravery.
  • Encourage positive self-talk, and hell your child overcome a small fear they may have.

Walk to School Wednesday Volunteers Needed 1/15
Volunteers needed next Wednesday to help attach new Walk to School Wednesday cards to student backpacks as they enter school.  Please review the sign up genius and consider coming out to help!
Dad's Club Social
Come out and join the Mabry Dad's Club for the first gathering of 2020 at The Blind Goat (4106 Henderson Blvd) this Thursday, January 16, from 7-10pm!

The Blind Goat is offering $.50 wings and beverage specials. 
Walk to School Wednesdays
Walk to school every Wednesday and fill those  punch cards !  Here's the map of  walking routes and additional details.
New Sneaker Giveaway!
On Wednesday 1/15, our Walk to School Wednesdays volunteers will be collecting walking cards from the last nine weeks for our new sneaker giveaway. One lucky student will win $60 toward the new pair of shoes of his or her choice. Please be sure your student's Walk to School Wednesday card is labeled with their name and teacher. Last 9-weeks, more than 150 students were entered to win, so lace up your shoes and join us as we walk to school this Wednesday!
Celebrate a special event on the Mabry Marquee!
Kids love seeing their birthday displayed or personal announcements!!

The Mabry Marquee celebrations reservation form is online at mabrypta.org/forms. Complete this form and put it in the front office box or send it in via email.  
Details for how to order a yearbook tribute for your Prek-4th grader can be found HERE. Deadline to reserve tribute online only is 2/6/20.  Tribute is due in the yearbook basket by 2/13/20.

Early release Monday: 12:10pm
Tuesday-Friday: 1:10pm

Student dismissal changes must be submitted in writing, either hand written note or emailed to the student's teacher.  If emailing dismissal changes, please copy the school secretary at  jennifer.lovell@sdhc.k12.fl.us
