Character Connection: Acceptance

Here are some discussion points to talk about acceptance with your child:
  • What do you think acceptance is and why is it important?
  • Tell me about a time when it was hard to include someone you didn't want to play with?
  • What are some ways you can practice acceptance of yourself and others?
Love to bake? We need you!
We are looking for volunteers to help bake or purchase goodies for the 5th grade bake sale at the Walk-A-Thon. Details and a signup genius can be found HERE

Please have the items prebagged and marked if they are one of the "Gluten-Free, Nut-Free or Dairy-Free" snacks.  All items should be dropped at THE FRONT of the school the Thursday and Friday before the Bake Sale, October 24 or 25.

Tickets for Texting
Starting January 1, Tampa police will be issuing tickets for texting in a school or work zone. It will be considered a moving violation with the possibility of 3 points on a driving record and up to a $60 fine. Please be advised that Tampa PD will be implementing this change immediately, and while they may issue only warnings through the next couple of months, they will be stopping people. We all have a role to play in the safety of our children, so please avoid using your phone for texting while picking up and dropping off.
