We'd like to introduce you to the new Community School Officer who has been assigned to Mabry and we are thrilled to have. In his own words, please meet Officer Mike Claypool:

I am a proud father of six children with ten years experience in sworn law enforcement. Two of my step children attended Mabry years ago one of which (Jaelen Knight) was appointed to the United States Air Force Academy. I took an early retirement from law enforcement to pursue a career in Emergency Medical Services as a medic as I have a strong passion for emergency medicine and helping people. I worked several roles in EMS, working in an ambulance, and adult and pediatric emergency departments (Bayfront Medical Center Level II trauma Room & All Children's Hospital ER). I have worked as a medical crew member for an air ambulance company caring for patients being flown globally. I have a strong passion for the protection of our children and knew it would be a good fit with my experience to work as a Community School Officer aka "Guardian".  When I am not working I love to fish and being on my boat. 

The Wonderland Holiday Gift Shoppe will be open Dec 3rd  - 7th  during select school days and Family Dinner Night. 

The shop will give students the opportunity to choose their own inexpensive, quality gifts for family and friends. Proceeds benefit the school and an upcoming service project sponsored by the fifth grade class. Parent information sheets and planning envelopes will be sent home in your child's Friday Folder on 11/30. Volunteers are needed in the Shoppe. Sign up here!
