Walk to School Wednesday Nov. 9th
Join the Mabry Walking School Bus for our next Walk to School Wednesday Nov. 9th. Walking school buses will meet at 7:10 am.  Click here for a map of bus routes and additional details.

All walkers will receive a prize and the class with the highest percentage of participation will receive a $100 gift certificate to purchase P.E. equipment for their classroom! Students should sign in with their teacher when they get to class to be counted. Coffee and water will be available by the gate on Estrella outside the 1st grade wing.
Canned Food Drive starts NOW!
Student Council is holding its annual canned food drive from Nov 7-10.  We are looking for new, unexpired food to donate.  Some items you can bring in are:  
  • Canned vegetables
  • Canned fruits
  • Canned soup
  • Canned meat
  • Stuffing
  • Tuna fish
  • Boxes of instant rice, potatoes, pasta
  • mac and cheese
  • Dessert Mixes
We are also looking to help replenish supplies for Westshore Elementary.  They especially need easy snacks and microwave food like Easy Mac.  
You can bring in your donations to your student council rep anytime during the week.  Food will be given to families in need at Mabry, Westshore Elementary, and any extra will be sent to Metropolitan Ministries.  Thank you so much for your support!  Contact: Jessica Strauss at Jessica.Strauss@sdhc.k12.fl.us
Come One, Come ALL
Next Tuesday November 15 at 6pm is the next Mabry PTA General Membership Meeting.  Come hear the latest on PTA happenings.  Children are welcome to attend. At the conclusion of our meeting, we will proudly showcase the Mabry Rock Band.   The Mabry Rock Band is an auditioned group of guitar players, vocalists, keys and drums. They perform classic hits and modern rock songs. We hope you come out and support our Mabry rock stars!
