Student Council is holding its annual Toy Drive. We are looking for new, unwrapped toys for infants to teenagers. All donations will go to Metropolitan Ministries to be distributed to families in need in Hillsborough County. Mabry shows their kindness in so many way! Farmer's Market, Wednesday, December 19th

Come check out our garden fresh produce at the Mabry TUB Farms Garden Winter Farmer's Market.
Our green gang gardeners will be selling broccoli, Swiss chard, Brussels sprouts, sweet peppers, herbs and more Wednesday morning before school.
The market will be held outside the front office. All items will be $1.00 - $3.00 and proceeds will go right back to support the garden.

Bay News 9's
A+ Teacher Initiative
|
Bay News 9 is starting a new initiative in January called A+ Teachers.
They are asking students or their parents to nominate amazing teachers who go out of their way every day to ensure student success.
Bay News 9 will pick a teacher from the nominees and come out to your school to visit their classroom. They will do a story on what makes the teacher an awesome educator.
Students (or their parents) should send an email to

and explain what makes their teacher A+.

Walk to School Wednesdays
|
Congratulations to Mrs. Anderson's and Mrs. Farris's classes who won an extra P.E. class in the walk to school Wednesday raffle this month! Don't forget to write your name and teacher on your punch cards. Next month we will have a special raffle for walkers who reach 12 weeks in a row. One lucky student will when a kids activity tracker watch to count up all those steps. Stay tuned for more information!

Beautification Co-Chair Needed

School Service is looking for a Beautification Co-Chair to partner with current Co-Chair Kelly Bucey.
The Beautification Committee is in charge of making things on the Mabry Campus

, including events like the back-to-school grounds clean up.
There is not a huge time commitment with maybe three to four beautification events a year.
