Mabry Minute for Week of 12/2/18
Thursday dinner plans are set! 
Family Dinner Night is this Thursday, December 6,  5:30-7:30p. 

Fun planned for the entire  family! Delicious dinner choices from 4 Food Trucks; a beautiful chorus performance at 6pm, 5th grade bake sale,  holiday shoppe, business partners expo and snow ️☃️ 

Food trucks that will be  in attendance are Surf and Turf Truck FL, Mr. C's Grilled Cheese, Vanchetta  and  Maggie on the Move . Each truck will serve a $5 child's meal for those little eaters!

Wonderland Holiday Gift Shoppe 
Opens Tomorrow!!
Students can shop for inexpensive, quality gifts for family and friends. Proceeds benefit the school and an upcoming service project sponsored by the fifth grade class. 

Parent information sheets  and planning envelopes were sent home in your child's Friday Folder on 11/30. The shoppe will be open December 3 - 7 during select times, in addition to Family Dinner night. Each class will have a chance to visit the shoppe on specific days based on their grade.  Please see Parent FAQs for  more information.  

Mon - 5th and 4th grades
Tue - 3rd grade and PreK
Wed - 2nd grade
Thu - 1st grade & at Family Dinner Night
Fri - Kindergarten

Adopt a Dolphin Giving Tree
It's time for our annual Adopt a Dolphin Giving Tree! We are asking for your help in providing holiday gifts for some of our Mabry families, as well as students from our partnership school, West Shore Elementary. 

This year we are using SignUpGenius to make it easier for you to fill a need. Mabry PTA Auction Kick-Off
It's that time again! Just us on February 23, 2019 for the event of the year, the Mabry PTA Auction. It is a party you will not want to miss. We will also have multiple online auctions leading up to the event!

Toy Drive

Student Council is holding its annual Toy Drive. We are looking for new, unwrapped toys for infants to teenagers. All donations will go to Metropolitan Ministries to be distributed to families in need in Hillsborough County. Mabry shows their kindness in so many way! Stem Fair
Students have been hard at work the last few month, completing their STEM projects.  We now invite you to check out 3-5 grade journals next week!  Stop by the media center after signing in before school (7:10-7:40am) or after school (2:15-2:45) to view journals Monday-Thursday (Dec 3-6).

ASE Annoumcement
We had an awesome Fall Session with ASE. Below are the last dates of the fall session. 

Monday:        Dec 10 th  
Tuesday:      Dec 4th  
Wednesday:   Dec 5th  
Thursday:      Dec 6th  
Friday:           Dec 7th  

Registration for the spring will  start on Jan 11th, 2019. The session will run  Feb 11th through May 13th. Be on the lookout in the Mabry Minute over the next few weeks for registration information and new classes added for the spring.
