Great American Scholar Luncheon
|
Please help us honor our Mabry students who have taken the responsibility to gain a greater sense of patriotism! We need many volunteers to ensure another successful Great American Scholar Luncheon and Program on Friday, February 17th.
You can volunteer even if your child did not participate in the program - in fact, we are looking for parents who can miss the program from 12 - 12:30 so that we can clean up from the first lunch and prep for the second lunch. Click here to sign up or contact

Along with Valentine's Day, February marks American Heart Month, a great time to commit to a healthy lifestyle and make small changes that can lead to a lifetime of heart health. Did you know heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women? Check out these tips to get Healthy for Good and be aware of common heart attack warning signs. Be well.

Student Council and Mabry Elementary PTA are excited to announce the annual Candy Gram drive. This year, all the proceeds will go to Metropolitan Ministries. Come to the candy table in front of the school from 7:30-8am on Feb 6th-9th and create a message you would like tosend FOR JUST A $1! It could be for a friend, your parents, your teacher, or any member of the Mabry Family. Parents, you can even send one to your child! Student Council will attach a lollypop and deliver it on February 14th to the respective rooms. Now that's "sweet".

The PTA Reflections art exhibit will be in the media center from Feb. 6- Feb. 9th. Stop in to see how participating students answered the question 'What is Your Story?' via art expression.

There will be a DJ party on Feb 14th for those students who raise $25 or more by Feb. 10th. The American Heart Association is dedicated to helping people live longer, healthier lives. The money we raise helps people in our community learn how to avoid heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. To donate please visit - www. heart.org/jump or turn packets into Coach Broff or Coach Coto. Volunteer Application Online

The SERVE Volunteer application is now available on line. This application needs to be completed by all volunteers.
Teachers will be able to go
online to see if a parent has completed the application
before allowing the parent to volunteer in the classroom or
on a fieldtrip.
