Mabry Talent Show

The 2019 Mabry Talent Show is this Thursday, April 18th, from 6-8:30 pm at the Plant High School Auditorium. See you there!

American Cancer Luminaria Order Form

When the sun goes down at every American Cancer Society Relay for Life event, hope shines the brightest. During the Luminaria Ceremony, hundreds of luminaria light the track or path to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has taken too much. This ceremony of light symbolizes the hope and perseverance with which we all continue to fight.

You can give to the American Cancer Society and keep the flame of hope lit by dedicating a luminaria in memory of someone lost to cancer or in honor of someone still fighting or who has beaten the disease.

Luminarias are $10 each and can have up to 10 words of dedication in addition to the name. Forms can be found HERE and must be returned by Thursday, April 18, 2019.

Calling all fifth graders!

Join us at the Mabry Talent show for a special Mabry tradition. All 5th graders gather on stage and perform together as a final goodbye to Mabry, the song "Lean On Me". Lyrics can be found here, and the actual song can be heard here.

Dress rehearsal at the Plant High School Auditorium at 7:30 PM on April 17th, and the performance will be the following evening at PHS- April 18th at 7:15 pm. Wear your awesome 5th grade shirts!

Safety Tip of the Week

Spring is a great time to go over your fire escape plan with your family. Have your children try opening their windows. Have them know how to check for a hot door and that their first priority is always their own safe escape - not yours or the pets. Make sure you have a family meeting spot or a neighbor that the children know to go to in an emergency.
