Happy Mother's Day to all our Mabry Moms!!
Breakfast Food Drive!
Student Council is holding it's last annual drive, our Breakfast Food Drive! Many students in Hillsborough County rely on free breakfasts at school. You can help sustain a student in need through the summer with your donation. We are looking for easy things like:

-Cereal
-Breakfast Bars
-Oatmeal

You can bring your donations into your student council rep now through May17. All donations will go to Westshore Elementary and other schools in need in our area. Thank you so much for your donation! If you have any questions, please email Jessica.Strauss@sdhc.k12.fl.us for more info.
Our yearly District Art Test is this week, 
May 13th-17th!
This year will again be a twenty question test for 1st-5th students. It is a bubbled answer paper test in the Art room during their regular Art time (with extended time or makeups during any of Mrs. D's planning periods). 

We hope every student feels relaxed, and ready knowing they are "Art smart!". But if not,  HERE are some fun study guides, and reviews for students or classes that have missed quite a bit of Art this year.

Also, as an incentive to "do their best" on the test, students achieving high scores can receive Art tickets for our end of the year prize drawings, and an art incentive prize.

It's BOGO Book fair Time!
It's time to stock up for Summer Reading at the End of the Year BOGO Book Fair!   
That's right, EVERYTING at the fair will be BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE!!!! Come visit us on May 28-30th in the Media Center. There is a special after school shop with your students on May 28th from 2-3 PM.  

Add money to your students eWallet for hassle free shopping beginning May 14th. Whatever is not spent, goes back to your card.

Mabry Elementary is proud to announce the end of back to school shopping and the beginning of our easy, breezy, EduKit program!  Order your EduKit  today and all your school supplies will be delivered before school begins.
Safety Tip of the Week
Please remind your kids that no games should ever include someone hurting you. That is not a game - even if someone says it is or seems excited to try it. Friends should not ask you to do something where you know you might get hurt or someone else will get hurt. It is OK to say no to dangerous games.

Student dismissal changes must be submitted in writing, either hand written note or emailed to the student's teacher.  If emailing dismissal changes, please copy the school secretary at jennifer.lovell@sdhc.k12.fl.us
