PTA Scholarship Recipient -  Aiden Reilly!
This year's Mabry Alumni PTA scholarship was awarded to Aiden Reilly, a senior at Plant  High School. Aiden's accomplishments include being Captain of his Track and Cross Country teams, where he competed at the State level, National recognition for his achievements in mathematics, and founder of the Plant's Chess Club. Aiden's involvement, leadership and academic accomplishments awarded him selection into Plant's prestigious Order of Gold & Black. These are just a few of the achievements that won over the scholarship committee, along with strong recommendations as well as Aiden's essay he wrote in which he credits his teachers, mentors and experiences at Mabry for shaping him into the self driven and curious individual he is now.

Safety Tip of the Week
Don't do Drugs. Well for young kids what is a drug? It's not food and it's not water. Don't allow someone else to get you to swallow/ inhale/ sniff something that is not food and not water. It generally comes along with "this will make you feel....good/ etc." Tell your child this is dangerous or tricky person, up to no good.
