There may be a chill in the air, but February Festival, a beloved, month‑long tradition, brightens the coldest stretch of winter for Lower School students! This February, each week brought a new flurry of fun and hands‑on activities, from crafting delicate paper snowflakes and whimsical decoupage icicles, to sipping warm hot cocoa with friends. Students also looked forward to cozy themed days, like slipper and sock day, which added a playful touch of warmth and comfort to the season.
But one of the most delightful parts of February Festival was the special visit from Barbegazi, a magical winter creature. He arrived with his woodland friends to bring wonder to the students. His stories about his home in the Alps and his adventures skiing on his huge feet have sparked the imagination of the students and will give them something to remember long after the month ends. Rooted in joy, creativity, and community, February Festival transformed mundane days into celebration of winter magic.
