More New Sport Programs being introduced at Jewish Schools Through the Henry Jolson Pathways Project
Maccabi is now also supporting a Soccer program at Beth Rivkah College and a Netball program at King David School, in addition to the already successful Athletics programs at Bialik. The Soccer sessions for year 4-10 girls are conducted by Veronica Goldring (Maccabi Soccer Senior Women team). The Netball classes for year 5-6 students are delivered by Ella Sandler, (Maccabi Netball coach and former King David student). We already have more sport programs in Jewish schools in the pipeline to keep our children healthy and active.
The Maccabi Women in Sport program had a great morning, walking in the Mother’s Day Classic, raising money and awareness for breast cancer.   It was a very touching experience to see the sea of pink as people ran or walked in support and memory of those touched by breast cancer. We’re really proud for Maccabi and it’s team of women and girls to have been a part of this wonderful event. We look forward to you joining us next year.
