Maccabi USA Supporters Mission Shabbat Dinner and Fourth of July Celebration

Our Supporters Mission welcomed the first Shabbat of the 2026 Maccabiah with a meaningful Kabbalat Shabbat service followed by a festive Shabbat dinner, bringing participants together in a spirit of reflection, community, and celebration. The evening was made even more special with remarks from former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren, who shared how his experience competing in the Maccabiah helped shape his relationship with Israel and the impact the Maccabiah has had on his life, along with the impact in can have on this generation of athletes.

The celebration continued on Saturday as Mission participants marked the Fourth of July. It was a memorable weekend that highlighted the deep bond between the United States and Israel, and the shared values that unite our delegation both on and off the field.

Juniors Fourth of July Carnival

At our Juniors athlete hub, we celebrated America's 250th birthday with a special Fourth of July Carnival! Our athletes were able to play carnival games, eat fun snacks, hit the dance floor, watch the World Cup, and connect with teammates and new friends. The celebration allowed our delegation to enjoy a taste of home while representing the United States in Israel. It was the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day and create even more unforgettable Maccabiah memories.
