Our 900 strong delegation will all join together for the first time Wednesday night for a memorable Opening Ceremony at a sold-out Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem.

Opening Ceremony details are below, but note that while the start time in the stadium remains the same (7:30 pm in Israel), the organizers let us know the broadcast and livestream will begin at 9:40 pm in Israel (2:40 pm ET/11:40 am PT).

Final Day of Pre-Maccabiah Training Camp

Our second and final day of pre-Maccabiah training camp took place today as athletes took to the courts and fields one last time to prepare for competition starting tomorrow. Additionally, teams scrimmaged against one another to simulate the speed and competitive nature that awaits them once the official Games begin. These practices have been an important first step, bringing teammates from across the country together before an amazing two weeks of competition.

Say Cheese!
Maccabiah Team Photos

Today, delegations across multiple hotels gathered for a time-honored Maccabiah tradition: the official team photo! Capturing the athletes, coaches, and staff who make up Team Maccabi USA at the 2026 Maccabiah, these photos will serve as lasting memories of the journey ahead and will be included in the Maccabiah journals that each delegation member will receive commemorating their Maccabiah experience. We can't wait to see our teams move from the camera to the field, court, and beyond in the days ahead!

Maccabi Media Team Meets CNN Jerusalem Bureau Chief Oren Liebermann

This evening, the Maccabi Media Team had the opportunity to meet Oren Liebermann, the Chief Jerusalem Bureau Chief for CNN. Oren is the uncle of one of this summer's Maccabi Media students, Michael.

Oren worked with our students on news packages, joined the team for dinner, and spoke about his career journey and current role and gave advice to the next generation of media professionals. We thank Oren for his time and dedication to the Maccabi Media Program.
