Dear Families,

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

How wonderful it has been to be on campus with students, faculty, and staff. The smiling faces and chatter warm my heart. This year my deep hope for all is that we would dive deep into what it means to abide in Jesus and how we can stay connected to the true vine. Thank you so much for your patience as we work out all the various processes we have had to put in place so we can stay safe.

We will use the Mack Memo to communicate important school-wide information. Please look for it in your browser on Mondays or Tuesday if we did not have school on Monday.

Back to School Night 9/10

Magnus App

Thank you to everyone helping to make daily health screenings go so smoothly! If you haven't set up the phone app, here are some updated instructions:

• The OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) is requiring that we screen every person entering our school campuses.

• We will be using a new smartphone app to do student daily health screenings.

• To help us to accomplish this, BCS will begin using Magnus Health. Magnus will be our health tracking software, and it will integrate with RenWeb.

• We have posted instructions under Resource Documents in the Facts/RenWeb Family Portal.

The instructions are called: Parent-Student Health Screening Instructions.

• These instructions will help you set up the app. Once you setup the app, you will need to answer the Heath Screening questions every school day for each student.

To access Magnus Health (through RenWeb), Click on "Student" and then click on "Medical." This will take you to you, Magnus. Then please follow the instructions for setting up the phone app.

Chapel

Tuesday mornings are a special time on the Mack Campus. Students, staff & faculty spend 30 minutes of their day in Chapel learning more about God.

Now Hiring

We remain committed to providing Extended Day care for families who need it.

At this time, we have been unable to staff this program. We are actively seeking qualified employees and hope to be able to offer both before-school care and after-school care. If you are interested or know someone who is interested in apply, please have them apply on our website employment page (see below). This is a great opportunity for a college student interested in working with children.

We continue to look for a P.E. teacher. If you know of anyone who might be qualified and would like to work at a great school please ask them to apply. Thank you!

NEW this year! We have a new online process in place. Details on viewing proofs and ordering will be on Mack Parent Portal by tomorrow, 9/9.

The phone number and email address of the first contact listed in your child's RenWeb account will be utilized to generate your child's photo order. Vakker Photography guarantees your privacy, they will not share your information with anyone else or for any other purpose. Please note: Vakker's form is elementary specific. Preschool parents, you will go through this same process, but the proofing dates etc. will be adjusted. If you wish to opt out of online ordering, contact your campus office.
