Welcome Steve Barclay State Farm to the Macomb Chamber!  And many thanks to Clinton Township Supervisor Bob Cannon for attending the grand opening and supporting new businesses in the area.
Holiday Hiring Fair at Macomb Mall

Retailers in Macomb Mall will have tables setup in front of their stores with staff onsite and ready to meet prospective new employees during the Holiday Hiring Event on Saturday, September 23. The event will take place throughout the mall from 10AM-2PM. Positions available range from customer-facing to stock and storeroom assistance.
Congratulations Detroit Zoo!

The Detroit Zoo's Polk Penguin Conservation Center received the 2017 Exhibit Award from the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) on September 12 during its annual conference, held this year in Indianapolis. The award is the top honor bestowed annually upon accredited institutions for excellence in exhibit design. The penguin center opened in April 2016 and led the Detroit Zoo to record-breaking attendance last year.
Communitas Award for Genisys Credit Union

Genisys Credit Union has been awarded the 2017 Communitas Award for the Genisys Fights Hunger campaign benefiting Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Communitas Awards recognize exceptional businesses, organizations and individuals for excellence in community service and corporate social responsibility.  The Communitas Awards is an international effort to recognize the spirit of communitas- people helping people. Communitas winners unselfishly give of themselves and their resources, and are changing the way they do business to benefit their communities.
