State of Macomb Township

Macomb Township Supervisor Janet Dunn spoke to a crowd of over 100 people at Sycamore Hills Golf Club last Friday morning delivering her State of the Community address. Other confirmed event dates in the Chamber's 2018 series are the State of Chesterfield which will be held on April 13; Shelby Township's event will be held on July 20; Harrison Township will be held on September 14; and, State of the County Address will be held on December 5
Lunch with the Governor

The Macomb County Chamber is pleased to once again host Governor Rick Snyder last luncheon addressing Macomb County's business community. The event will include networking, plated lunch, and the Governor's remarks followed by a question and answer session. Presenting sponsor - OMEGA HR will emcee the event. The Macomb County Warming Center Presents: 
The Warmth of Music 

March 25 from 1 to 6 p.m.

Local independent musicians and community leaders come together to invite you to a special benefit concert in vibrant downtown Mount Clemens, to support the Macomb County Warming Center. The Center needs your support to continue providing shelter, food and sundries to the homeless in our community. Buffet food service included with admission, door prizes and raffle drawings also available.
Kids Club Spring Break at Macomb Mall!

April 3-5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Macomb Mall is excited to partner with Mad Science of Detroit to offer fascinating and interactive demonstrations for children 10 and under as part of their Kids Club program during the week of Spring Break. These shows will feature "Mad Scientists" and are not only action packed, but also sneak in some educational items while all of the fun is happening!
Macomb Community College's 2017-18 speaker series concludes with R. David Edelman

April 5 at 7 p.m. 

R. David Edelman, technology advisor for the Obama administration and one of the leading voices on how technology is changing our daily lives, will wrap up the 2017-18 First State Bank Speaker Series on at Macomb Community College's Lorenzo Cultural Center. In A.I., Big Data, Self-Driving Cars & Drones: Innovations Disrupting the Global Economy, Edelman will provide a comprehensive overview of how technologies such as artificial intelligence work and the implications they have for society.

Court Offices Relocating

Due to the renovation of the 4th Floor of the County Courthouse, many of our Circuit Court Judges will be relocating the week of March 19. The 5th Floor of the County Courthouse is reopening, and Judge Jennifer Faunce will be returning to her permanent Courtroom on the 5th Floor. Judge Joseph Toia will be moving to the 6th floor. Judge James Maceroni, Judge Carl Marlinga, and Judge Rachel Rancilio will be moving to the 5th floor. Judge Michael Servitto will be moving to the 3rd floor. The County Clerk's Office and the Macomb County PPO Office will be moving to permanent offices on the 1st floor of the County Courthouse. The County Clerk's Office will open in their new location on the 1st floor on Monday March 26th.
