Celebrate International Polar Bear Day at the Detroit Zoo

February 24 & 27

The Detroit Zoological Society is hosting free activities at the Detroit Zoo's award-winning Arctic Ring of Life to celebrate International Polar Bear Day and raise awareness of the conservation concerns facing this iconic species. The two events will include zookeeper talks, educational activities and photo opportunities with the DZS's polar bear mascot from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
David Bonior Presents Congressional Memoir

Have you ever wonder how Congressional Leadship really works? Join us at Mount Clemens Publci Library when former Congressman David E. Bonior will share his day as the Democratic whip in the House of Representatives. Bonior will discusss and sign copies of his newly-published memoir, Whip: Leading the Progressive Battle During the Rise of the Right.
USPBL Announces Dance Crew Auditions

In an effort to continue to provide a premium experience for all of its fans at Jimmy John's Field, the United Shore Professional Baseball League is launching junior and senior dance crews for the 2018 season. Tryouts for the inaugural teams will be held at Eppler Junior High School in Utica, Mich., through the USPBL's strong partnership with Utica Community Schools.  For additional questions, please contact Lesley Kay at .
