Belle Isle Nature Center hosts family-friendly Valentine's celebration

The Belle Isle Nature Center will host its second annual family-friendly Valentine's celebration on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Birds and the Bees will feature music, photography, crafts, zookeeper talks and other educational activities.

Black History Month:
A Night Celebrating Creativity and Movement

The DIA kicks off Black History Month with a late night celebration, remaining open until 2 a.m. Highlights of the event include a reading by U.S. poet laureate Tracy K. Smith and a performance by Mahogany Jones.

Macomb Symphony Orchestra Youth Education Concert

The Macomb Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce the next in our series of Youth Education Concerts to be presented at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts (at M-59 and Garfield in Clinton Township) on

Families Against Narcotics' Addiction Recovery Initiative Hope Not Handcuffs Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Families Against Narcotics (FAN) will hold a one-year celebration for their Hope Not Handcuffs (HNH) addiction recovery initiative that launched on February 1, 2017. The event will honor the volunteer 'Angels', the community partners and those that have successfully gone through the program.

The 45th annual statewide juried exhibition of varying media by Michigan artists. Juror Dennis A. Nawrocki. History Gallery featuring a special display by Selfridge ANGB, 127th Wing. The event runs  January 27 - February 23, 2018 at the First Level Gallery.
