AT&T Names David Lewis President of AT&T Michigan

AT&T named David Lewis president of AT&T Michigan.  Lewis is a near 10-year veteran of the company's external, government, and public affairs efforts. A native of Indianapolis, Lewis joined AT&T Indiana in 2009 as the company's Director of External and Corporate Affairs.  In addition to his service to AT&T, Lewis has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Central Indiana, the Hispanic Business Council, Fort Wayne Urban League, and the NAACP state education committee.
Reserve Your Mini-Game Plans for 2018 USPBL Season

The United Shore Professional Baseball League released new mini-game plan ticket packages on Monday to include the most highly anticipated theme nights at Jimmy John's Field in historic downtown Utica, Mich. These three-to-seven-game packs are now available, starting as low as $36 (3-game plans) and $84 (7-game plans).

Female Polar Bear Arrives at Detroit Zoo

A female polar bear named Suka, 5, has arrived at the Detroit Zoo from Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison, Wisc., based on a Species Survival Plan (SSP) breeding recommendation through the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA). She will be paired with Nuka, a 13-year-old male polar bear residing in the Zoo's Arctic Ring of Life.
Macomb Community College opens registration for spring semester of SOAR Macomb

Registration is open for the spring semester of the Society of Active Retirees (SOAR) Macomb, a Macomb Community College lifelong learning initiative. From April 10 through May 17, SOAR Macomb will present more than 50 non-credit courses, typically two hours in length, spanning topics such as current events, local history, art and literature, and mental fitness. Since its introduction in fall 2014, the program has attracted nearly 1,700 learners. It is expected to draw another 300 participants this spring.
