The Chamber's Public Policy Committee hosted in State Rep. Pamela Hornberger to their meeting this week.  She discussed her involved with current legislation and issues pertinent to her constituents.

State of the Community - Shelby Township next week

Shelby Township Supervisor Rick Stathakis will deliver the State of the Township address on Thursday, July 20, at 8 a.m. at the Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township.  Stathakis  will be joined by State Representative Peter Lucido, Macomb County Public Works Commisioner Candice Miller, and County Commissioners Don Brown and James Carabelli who will offer state and county updates.

The event is part of the Macomb County Chamber's State of the Community Series, held annually in several cities and townships throughout Macomb County so that the business community and citizens can hear from their elected local leaders. The next event in the series will be the State of the Community - Harrison Township on September 15.

Baseball is a summertime tradition! A night out with Amy Howard

On Wed., July 19, 5:30-8 p.m. Amy Howard will personally demonstrate the steps to complete your own chalk paint project. Each participant will have a hands on experience using Amy Howard at HomeĀ® One Step chalk based paint to finish a picture frame. All supplies and products used in the workshop will be provided. Sponsored by Great Lakes Ace Hardware, the event takes place  at the Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County Restore in Farmington.  Register here.
Minions take over Macomb Mall

On Wednesday July 19, 2017 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.  The Minions are taking over Macomb Mall for a fun Meet & Greet event for the whole family to enjoy. This public event will take place in the Dick's Sporting Goods Court and is suitable for all ages.
