State of Chesterfield Township was held on Friday, April 13 at Zuccaro Banquet and Catering. More than 100 people attended to hear local and state elected officials and Chesterfield Township Supervisor Daniel J. Acciavatti's outlook on the township. 
What is NextGEN Macomb?

Over the past few years, young professional organizations across the state have been gaining recognition and support as they embark on a mission to bring their voice to the communities in which they live, work and play. NextGEN is one of these groups. Located in Macomb County, NextGEN's goal is to bring the voices of the younger generation forward in the business world. NextGEN  welcomes members of all professional, educational, and personal backgrounds. NextGEN's mission is to participate in community involvement, promoting Macomb's Live, Work, Play mantra and fostering professional development in the Macomb area. NextGEN Macomb operates under the Macomb County Chamber and all Chamber Members are welcome to join at no additional cost.

Macomb Community College nursing program celebrates 
50 years
Macomb Community College's associate degree nursing program reaches a milestone this year, marking 50 years of training our community's nurses. Since the first graduating class in 1968, the Macomb Community College nursing program has played a vital role in ensuring Macomb County's health care facilities are manned with high-quality nursing staff, granting more than 5,200 associate degrees.
Anton Art Center Announces Community Connect Partnership with Alzheimer's Association 

Afternoon at the Anton is a free program for
 people living with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia and a companion. Each workshop will include facilitated art discussion followed by art creation. No artistic experience is required! These activities will provide cognitive stimulation, encourage socialization, help reduce stress and anxiety, as well as enrich relationships and promote self-expression.
The Arc of Macomb County 
11th Annual  Golf Outing 

May 11 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The day includes 18 holes of golf with a cart at the beautiful Sycamore Hills Golf Club. The outing offers great prizes, contests, and awards followed by a delicious pasta buffet dinner! An exciting silent auction and raffle will add to the festivities. All net proceeds from this event will benefit people with disabilities and their families. Need more information?

HAP and Oak Street Health Partner to Enhance Care for MI Health Link Recipients

HAP and  Oak Street Health  are partnering to offer  HAP Midwest MI Health Link  members a new way to manage their health. At Oak Street Health centers, MI Health Link Medicare-Medicaid Plan (MMP) beneficiaries will experience a more comfortable approach to geriatric healthcare that encourages personal engagement. 
Lawrence Technological University's College of Management will be renamed the College of Business and Information Technology

Bahman Mirshab, dean of the Lawence Technological University, said the  new name, effective July 1, 2018, better reflects the range and scope of LTU's programs and the unique strengths of being part of a technological university. The college offers bachelor's degrees in five programs within business administration, a B.S. and M.S. in information technology, as well as six programs leading to a Master of Business Administration.
