Macomb County Chamber collaborates with Operation Rx

Chamber leadership met with John Brothers and Dominque Schroeder of Operation Rx, a county-wide collaborative res ponse to the opioid epidemic.  Grace Shore, Macomb Chamber CEO, co-chairs the Business Subcomitt ee of Operation RX, working to provide a well-informed approach to the epidemic while providing training, education and awareness throughout the county. Meet with MDOT  about the I-696 closure

Information sessions about the Spring 2018 I-696 construction project will be held at the Warren Civic Center,  1 City Square, Warren, 48093, from 9-10 a.m. Nov 15 and 29; Dec 13 and 14; Jan 17, 2018.

The Chamber co-hosted a very impactful Military Affairs Committee Meeting Tuesday at General Dynamics Land Systems. What a terrific group of people dedicated to protecting and promoting our military assets and defense!

Five Million Lights - That's Pretty Wild!

The Detroit Zoo will light up the night this holiday season with Wild Lights, a spectacular light display presented by Strategic Staffing Solutions. More than five million twinkling LED lights will brighten the evening sky and illuminate buildings, trees and more than 230 animal sculptures on a trail through the front half of the Zoo.   Wild Lights will be held Nov. 18-19 and 24-26 and Dec. 1-3, 8-10, 15-17, 20-23 and 26-31, 2017. Tickets are $10-$16 in advance - based on the hour and day - and $16 at the gate for guests ages 2 and older (children under 2 are admitted free); parking is $7.

Great Lakes Ace Hardware Stores host Holiday Giving Trees

Stop by the Warren Great Lakes Ace Hardware store located at 9 Mile & Ryan between November 12 - 25 to pick up a "wish ornament" from a child in need. The store is  working in partnership with Helping Hands Gifts.  Also, stop by the Clinton Township store between now and November 30 to drop off a non-perishable food item for Gleaners Foot Bank. Donations will be distributed to families in need this holiday and winter season.
