Macomb County 4-H News
Ochs Leaves MSU Extension
It is with mixed emotions that I announce that I am leaving my position to stay at home with my son, Jude. I have enjoyed working with Macomb County
4-H and am sad to leave, but the newest member of my family has stolen all of my attention. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to be such a big part of his everyday life. Since joining the 4-H staff, I have been amazed by all of the

opportunities for 4-H'ers that are made possible by so many dedicated volunteers. I am confident that Macomb County 4-H will continue "to make the best better!"

Volunteer Selection Process and Enrollment
All adult volunteers are required to complete the 4-H Volunteer Selection Process (VSP) before enrolling online. VSP consists of an application, criminal history check, online training, reference check and an interview.

Don't let your volunteer status lapse! Once a volunteer has completed VSP, he or she must enroll online annually to maintain his or her 4-H screened volunteer status. Volunteers whose enrollments lapse will need to repeat VSP.
