Win a Free Pizza Party for your 4-H Club!
Tractor Supply Company Spring 2018 Paper Clover Pizza Party Incentive
  • Two pizza parties, one per store, will be awarded every paper clover event for 4-H clubs that participate in the TSC Paper Clover event
  • The winner will be drawn at random using a ticket system
  • The system works like this:
    • Every 4-H club that promotes 4-H, recruits or fundraisers at Tractor Supply Company during paper clover gets one ticket
    • Clubs receive additional tickets for every hour they are there (two hours=two tickets, three hours=three tickets and so on)
    • If your club turns in a count of how many people they spoke to about 4-H or how many people they got to donate to 4-H, they receive another ticket (may use clicker or tally amount)
    • If your club turns in a ' I'm interested in learning more about 4-H Sheet' that has potential 4-H families contact information, you receive another ticket
  • One club from each store will be drawn for a pizza party, same club cannot win twice during each paper clover campaign, but may participate in both Macomb County locations to increase odds of winning
  • Clubs may hold as many paper clover events as they wish during the paper clover campaign and are eligible for the described amount of tickets every time
  • Clubs that are individually fundraising for their club, beyond the paper clover campaign must fill out a Fundraiser application and Fundraiser report (form listed in 'Managing Money Wisely' and 'Leading the way to Financial Accountability') which are the financial 4-H guidelines that were given to each club
  • Tickets will be added to the box by MSU Extension staff based on the tickets you earned during your event, tickets will not be handed out to clubs, rather kept in the county office

There will be two separate teams representing Macomb County, one at the Goat Expo and one at the Poultry Show. We are looking for interested youth who are dedicated to in-depth learning of these animals. Team members will be sent study guides and will meet either monthly or bi-monthly to display their knowledge and practice the quiz bowl format. Goat and Avian ownership is not required, only a dedicated interest in learning about these animals. A big thanks goes out to 4-H volunteer Sheila Hribar for stepping up to lead these teams at the state competitions. Please contact us to let us know your interest so we can determine if we have enough youth to form these teams. For more information, please contact Seth Martin, 4-H Program Coordinator at (586) 783-8163.

Reserve the 4-H Children's Art Exchange Kit
In cooperation with the People's Republic of China, the Michigan 4-H China Project makes a Children's Art Exchange Kit available free to schools, 4-H clubs and other youth groups. The program gives youth in grades K-6 the opportunity to exchange "visual letters" with youth in Shandong Province, China. Artwork submitted by Michigan youth participants could be selected to go to China, be part of a traveling statewide exhibit, or be part of an online exhibit. In Macomb County, reserve the kit online at http://bit.ly/2w8CIRy . For more information about the kit and the 4-H Children's Art Exchange, visit http://msue.anr.msu.edu/program/info/china_project or contact 4-H Program Coordinator Elizabeth Duran at 586-469-6090 or duraneli@anr.msu.edu.
