4-H Fair Theme Trivia
Did you know?  This year's 4-H fair theme, "May the 4-H be with you," is a pun on "May the 4th be with you," a message printed in a London newspaper to congratulate former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on her election (May 4, 1979). This congratulatory message was itself a pun on "May the Force be with you," a line from the 1977 movie, Star Wars. In more recent years, May 4th has unofficially become known as Star Wars Day and is celebrated by fans worldwide.

Thanks to Clever Clovers 4-H Club member Nate Maceroni for the suggestion, and to voters, for a fun 2016 4-H fair theme!
