Introducing Parent Square
We are excited to announce that Madison Academy has adopted a new form of school-to-home communication called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform informs parents and guardians and encourages greater engagement and connection with Madison Academy. It provides a safe way for administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:
- Send and receive school newsletters and class information
- Alerts and emergency communications (email, text, app notifications, & voice)
- Share pictures, videos, and files
- Forms and digital signatures
- See calendar items
- RSVPs to events, sign-up for volunteer opportunities or parent/teacher appointments
- and much more, all in one centralized place!
Little Madison Academy and Madison Academy Elementary Schools will use ParentSquare for all communications, including classrooms, while Upper School teachers will continue using Canvas for classroom communication.
Notifications of posts will be sent instantly to groups via daily digest emails. For even more convenience, individuals can elect to text messages or download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices). The best part is that individuals set personal preferences for how and when you receive notifications (view the how-to video link here).
In the event of urgent alerts (such as weather events or lockdowns), MA will use email, text, app notifications, and voice calls to communicate with all points of contact associated with students in FACTS. Parent/student information is pulled from RenWeb/FACTS nightly. Any contact information should be changed here.
Be on the lookout for Upper School's Newsletter and the President’s Notes being sent out through Parent Square instead of Constant Contact within the next few weeks.
