Pool Code Advisory Committee
WH&LA
Following the DATCP hearing last week on the Scope Statement for considering changes in the state Pool Code, WH&LA has been invited to submit nominees to serve on an Advisory Committee that will make recommendations to DATCP on proposed changes in the Pool Code. While it will not be certain for a few weeks if this Committee will be authorized, it is important that our industry not wait and miss the opportunity to have Pool Operators at the table ensuring industry suggestions and concerns are heard. Ideally, we would like to recommend a knowledgeable operator from a large pool/waterpark and another from a smaller lodging pool operator.

If you, or a Pool Operator at your property would be willing to serve on a Pool Code Advisory Committee that likely would meet in Madison, please send the name, property, and contact info to Trisha Pugal at pugal@wisconsinlodging.org by March 6.
