COVID Update
1.9.2021

January 9th, 2021

Dear Madison House Residents, Staff and Families,

Early this morning we were made aware that a resident who recently returned to our community tested positive for Covid-19. The resident in question has been in quarantine since their return Thursday afternoon so there has been no direct exposure to any of our residents.

All residents have been asked to self-quarantine and all meals are being delivered to rooms individually. We will keep everyone notified when it is safe and appropriate to resume activities and communal dining.

Of concern at this point is exposure to our caregiving staff.  We are working on a plan so that there is no cross contamination between care staff who care for our Covid-19 resident and our healthy residents.  This is a rapidly evolving situation and we will keep you all informed with any pertinent information.

Our vaccination clinic will commence as planned this afternoon.  We will be calling residents down individually to the activity room for their vaccinations.

Thank you for your trust and patience.

With Gratitude,

Morgan Rohrbach
