Madison Families:
As the year winds down and the holiday season approaches, we’re reflecting on the importance of empathy—our character trait focus for December. Empathy helps students understand and share the feelings of others, fostering kindness, connection, and a stronger sense of community. We’re encouraging our Mustangs to look for ways to support their peers, lend a helping hand, and show understanding in their daily interactions. It’s a great time of year to practice these skills at home as well—whether through acts of kindness or simply listening to one another.
I’d also like to take a moment to emphasize the continued importance of attendance. December is often a busy month, but it’s crucial that students stay engaged and present as we wrap up the semester. Every day counts, and being at school on time ensures that students don’t miss out on valuable learning opportunities and time with their classmates. Let’s finish the year strong!
As always, thank you for your support and partnership in making Madison Elementary a wonderful place to learn and grow. I hope this season brings joy and togetherness to you and your families.
