Madison Messenger - Summer 2026

Principal Message

Dear Madison Families,

Thank you for a great 2025-2026 school year. We loved having your children here at Madison. Throughout the year we have enjoyed many exciting clubs and activities along with school concerts and community events like our STEAM Night and Dr. Seuss Community Cafe. Participation in these activities and events is always wonderful and we enjoy the opportunity to spend time with our students and families.

We hope to see you on Thursday July 16th for Popsicles on the Porch at Madison from 10AM-12PM. All are welcome to enjoy a popsicle, participate in a book exchange, or participate in the PTO clothing swap held in our parking lot.

Over the summer we hope you will enjoy time with your family, read a book, visit a park, go for a hike. Summer will fly by and we will see you back here for launch conferences before you know it. For students leaving Madison and heading to new schools we wish you the best in your new adventures.

If you need assistance over the summer months, please email HeatherHo@spokaneschools.org, email is checked at least once a week. If you need immediate assistance, please call 509-354-5900.

Heather Holter, Madison Principal

SPS HEART Program

We understand that some families may have had a change in their housing situation. This may qualify your children for additional services through our district HEART (McKinney-Vento) Program. Please let us know if you are:

· Sharing housing with others due to financial hardship

· In a hotel/motel

· At a shelter or in transitional housing

· Staying in a car, park, campground, or other unstable situation

If any of these describe your current situation, please contact your school counselor or the HEART Program 509-354-7302. We can help with getting school clothing, school supplies, transportation to and from school, provide referrals to community resources, and more!
